Malka’s Place
A temple of otherworldly delights...fascinating shapes, textures, and disturbing art that transcends the obvious to discover a world of abstraction and raw emotion. The accompanying book challenges the viewer to focus on social injustice. Proceeds from the book and print sales will be donated to the “To Be Gallery”, a Foundation bringing awareness to the plight of women suffering through harsh jail sentences, and the children left at risk. The gallery provides mentorship, classes, and support. Art can heal, give hope, provide a path for transformation, a way to break the cycle of despair, and allow individuals “to be” better citizens of the world.
