Winona School of Photography
“BEYOND PORTRAITURE” June 19 – 22, 2011 Brown County State Park, Nashville, IN
Nestled in the hills of southern Indiana, Brown County State Park is a glorious
setting to learn, recharge your batteries, and enjoy the camaraderie of your peers. Beginners will be given a wealth of information and guide lines to develop confidence and originality as a portrait photographer, and the more advanced photographer will discover a unique way of approaching portraiture. You will be guided through a full cycle of styles and trends of portraiture from paintings by the “Ol Masters” to the contemporary magazine illustrations of today, and appreciate the influence and inspiration of our heritage. You will learn to see and use light (regardless of the source) to create a diversity of portrait styles from traditional to fine art. Working with models, conceptual assignments and digital art will inspire new creative directions.
