Come get messy with bees wax and encaustic materials for two days making photographic art beyond the ordinary.  This is an adventure into the exciting technique of applying and painting with encaustic wax on photographs.  You will select images from your archives appropriate for the process and print on substrates that accept the wax technique.  Then, the fun starts, when we prepare commercial beeswax and learn different painting techniques working with thin and heavy layers of wax and adding color.
